Jacinda Ardern drops hint about wedding plans — 'It's a beautiful part of the country'

On her return to Hawke’s Bay, where Clarke Gayford popped the question, the PM was asked if the wedding would be in the region as well.

The Prime Minister is hinting her wedding will be in the Hawke's Bay. 

Talking today from the region, Jacinda Ardern was asked of her wedding location, after getting engaged in Mahia.  

"There’s a lot of pressure to make it local and why wouldn’t I?

"It’s a beautiful part of the country.

"It's not a no," she added. 

Ardern and partner Clarke Gayford got engaged in 2019.
