Jacinda Ardern among the top 10 of highest paid leaders in the world

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern sits at number seven on the list as one of the highest-paid leaders in the world, earning $470,000 per year.

According to US website Wall Street 24/7, she earns much more than the Prime Minister and President of France. Both French leaders get the equivalent of $NZ350,000 per year.

Ms Ardern also earns more than Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as well as the leaders of Ireland and South Africa.

She makes nearly the same amount as German Prime Minister Angela Merkel.

Sitting at number one on the list is Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who earns a whopping $NZ2.4 million each year.
