'It's just catastrophic' - Christchurch mosque attack survivor tells John Campbell of terrifying ordeal

Farhaan Farheez was at the Linwood mosque when Friday's terror attack began, praying in the second row and lucky to escape with his life.

Had he been any later, and further back, he may not be alive today.

"It's one of those experiences I wish that no-one ever encounters. It's just catastrophic," he said.

Farhaan sat down with TVNZ 1's John Campbell, and detailed his terrifying ordeal on one of New Zealand's darkest days.
