Invercargill police seek teen wanted over spate of smashed windscreens

Police are appealing to the public to help find the person responsible for smashing seven windscreens on Saturday night in Invercargill.

Police were called to the Workingmen’s Club on Esk Street around 10pm where they found the smashed wind screens.

A male described as skinny build, aged about 16-18, wearing dark clothing and blue jeans was seen nearby. He ran off when approached by a member of the public.

The smashed windscreens were located on Ness Street, Esk Street and Jed Street, all close by.
