Inventor's supermarket trolley-inspired invention

Inventor Tom McKenzie is hoping to revolutionise transport after getting a bright idea from riding a supermarket trolley.

The "Levicle" is like a combination of a push scooter and a bicycle and Tom hopes it will become just as popular as the inspirations behind it.

Tom says he got the idea when he put a little bit of weight on to the handlebars of a supermarket trolley and realised that the floating feeling it gave was enjoyable.

Other inventions of his include a carbon fibre protector attached to a sock to prevent his toenail being stomped on during sports.
