Prior to the nationwide lockdown, more than 100 daily services were operating across the country.

New Zealand's only national bus service will resume some of its operations this week.

InterCity will have services to most major towns up and running from Thursday.

Prior to the coronavirus lockdown, more than 100 daily services were operating throughout the country, but some connections are on hold due to reduced seating capacity.

InterCity says it won't be able to continue operating at a loss long term, though, adding that its in discussions with the Government to receive some support.
