Inside Parliament: Capital gains tax, oil and gas ban and the latest poll results

February 22, 2019

In the latest episode of Inside Parliament, 1 NEWS political editor Jessica Mutch Mckay and reporter Benedict Collins discuss the results of the latest Colmar Brunton poll, which indicated Labour is looking healthy and Jacinda Ardern is still in poll position as preferred Prime Minister.

They also take a look at the minor parties and whether the election threshold of 5 per cent should be reduced as the Government considers a referendum on the issue.

A new report from the oil industry investigating the true cost of the Government's decision to ban oil and gas exploration is also discussed, as well as Labour's steps this week toward bringing in a capital gains tax.
