A homicide investigation has been launched after a man found with unexplained injuries in Hawke's Bay last week died.
The 45-year-old was found with significant facial injuries just after midnight on Diaz Drive, Flaxmere, on November 16, Detective Sergeant Craig Vining said.
He died from his injuries in Wellington Hospital this morning with family by his side.
Police would like anyone with information which could assist their investigation to call Hastings Police on 06 831 0700, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
