Homecoming parade planned for victorious Team New Zealand after reclaiming America's Cup




Auckland Council have confirmed there will be a homecoming parade for Emirates Team New Zealand when they return home from Bermuda. 

A parade for the team is expected to be held in the city Thursday next week.

In a statement released moments after the win the council said they will hold a "parade in the central city to mark their achievements when they return to Auckland."

It has been 14 years since the America's Cup left New Zealand.
