Healthcare workers' protest taking place this morning at Wellington Railway Station

PM urging district health boards to resolve issues with nurses

Nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants will stage a rally today in Wellington in an ongoing dispute with employers over pay and staffing issues.

They are calling on the government to prioritise investment in nursing.

The demonstration is due to begin at 8am at Wellington Railway Station.
