A male teenager has suffered a broken arm after falling 10 metres down a cliff, landing on his head, while mountain biking in the Coromandel Peninsula.
The teenager suffered a broken arm, cuts and abrasions, after the fall on a Whangamata trail at 12.45pm today, Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter reported.
"It could have been a lot worse. He was very lucky." Westpac helicopter co-Pilot Aaron Knight said.
