A guide has died following a commercial rafting incident on the Shotover River near Queenstown this morning.
A raft overturned in the river near Toilet Rapids around 11:15am police say.
There were five other people in the raft at the time and they were uninjured.
Police say they are working with Maritime New Zealand and the rafting company to determine what has occurred.
