Good Sorts: Waitara woman devotes over 50 years of her life to helping school cricket team

Thelma Luxton was asked by her teacher to help score a cricket match and never looked back.

Tonight's Good Sort has devoted well over half a century to a sport she's never played.

Waitara's Thelma Luxton was asked by her school teacher to help the boys' cricket team.

They needed someone to score their games so she picked up a pen and has hardly put it down since.
