Good Sorts: The true community man from Methven who's been on 21 local committees

Viv Barrett’s great love is machinery so he hosted a tour taking in some of his favourites.

Viv Barrett is a true Methven community hero who's been on 21 local committee boards, leading 19 of them.

But his great love is machinery, which is why he offered to take Hadyn Jones on a tour of his machinery.

The tour started at an unlikely place, the local preschool, because he’s been taking the kids to his farm, or coming to preschool in all sorts of dress ups in all sorts of vehicles.
