Good news for Kiwis doing business in Singapore

November 16, 2018

PM Jacinda Ardern announced the changes as she down with her Singaporean counterpart at the East Asia Summit.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern today announced changes to New Zealand’s free trade deal with Singapore.

It is hoped an upgrade to the deal will make it easier for Kiwis to do business there.

The deal means Kiwis will be able to visit Singapore for three months, up from the current one month, and also allow companies with offices there to send employees for eight years instead of five.

Ms Ardern now heads to the APEC Summit in Papua New Guinea, following this week's East Asia Summit.
