Gable Tostee is believed to be in New Zealand after buying a one-way ticket with his Kiwi girlfriend.
The man, who was acquitted of the murder of New Zealander Warriena Wright last month after she fell from a balcony in a Gold Coast apartment during a Tinder date, is understood to have arrived in the country this month on a one-way ticket, the NZ Herald reports.
Mr Tostee is now believed to be living under the new name Eric Thomas, and flew into Auckland on a Virgin Airlines flight last Saturday.
A witness saw Tostee with a woman in a Ponsonby bar last weekend, reported the NZ Herald.
Last month a Kiwi woman who claimed to be Gable Tostee's girlfriend announced in an Australian interview that the couple were making the move to New Zealand.
Lizzi Evans, 30, from Havelock North, spoke to Aussie news show 'A Current Affair' for an online shopping scam segment in September, prior to Tostee's murder trial.
Ms Evans didn't identify her 'boyfriend' in the interview, however she shared with the programme a photo of him, which was the spitting image of Tostee fixing her shoe.
