Finance Minister Grant Robertson sat down with Q+A's Corin Dann to talk tax, pay rises and balancing the books in his first Q+A interview for the year.
In the interview, Mr Robertson discusses housing in New Zealand, employment and a possible pay rise for teachers.
"We've got to take a realistic approach, but we're very live to the fact that those groups of professionals [teachers, nurses] probably haven't seen the benefit they should have," Mr Robertson told Dann.
