Three dead after two-vehicle crash at Kopu Bridge, Coromandel

Three people have died and one person is in a critical condition after a two-car crash at the Kopu Bridge in the Coromandel tonight.

There were two people in each car in the accident that occurred just before 8.30pm on the south side of the bridge.

Diversions are likely to remain in place at Kopu roundabout and at State Highway 25 and Hauraki Road until midnight.
