Four people injured in serious crash on SH1 in Canterbury

Four people have been injured in a serious crash south of Temuka in Canterbury.

Police say they received a report of the two-car crash on the intersection of State Highway One and Arowhenua Road at around 1:05pm today.

Diversions are in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
