Flipped cattle truck causes chaos as cows run amok on Auckland motorway

No one, including livestock, was seriously injured in the October 1 incident.

A section of Auckland's Northern Motorway was closed last night for somewhat unexpected reasons.

A cattle truck trailer flipped, leaving a herd of cows on the loose.

Police were forced to close the southbound Greville Road onramp as they rounded up the bovines.

No one - cattle included - was seriously injured in the incident.
