Hutt Valley Line trains delayed after fire briefly suspends services

Transport officials have been busy today dealing with people trying to get in and out of the city.

Hutt Valley Line trains are delayed after a fire briefly suspended services this afternoon.

A tweet from Metlink Wellington around 4pm said services out of Wellington on the Hutt Valley Line were suspended due to a fire on Ava Bridge.

A subsequent update says that, "we have been given clearance along the Hutt Valley line with some services experiencing delay."
