Fire in abandoned South Auckland kindergarten treated as suspicious after being controlled

A fire at an abandoned kindergaten in South Auckland is being treated as suspicious after being bought under control by eight fire crews this afternoon.

The crews were called to the two-building fire in Otara at 3.55pm, a Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson confirmed to 1 NEWS.

A fire investigator is on his way to the scene.
