Five arrests have now been made, after a large brawl involving 80-100 people at a KFC in South Auckland yesterday.
Police say they sent 13 units to the restaurant on Massey Road in Mangere East at 5pm, after they were told of 100 people fighting.
Officers who attended the scene say those involved were using chairs, bits of wood and what was thought to be knives, as weapons.
Police say when they arrived students dispersed into smaller groups.

A spokesperson says they are investigating further, and at this stage two adults and three youth have been arrested.
The spokesperson says no officers were injured in the brawl but there are unofficial reports one person from the public was hurt.
They urge anyone who was injured to get in touch.
Police say a large number of those involved were male students, from unconfirmed schools.
Officers will visit various schools in the area tomorrow morning to speak with staff and students.
They are also trying to attain CCTV footage from KFC, so they can understand how and why the brawl broke out.
A number of patrols have been made in the area tonight to provide reassurance to the local community.
If anyone has any information about the incident they are asked to contact Otahuhu Police.
