Female Blenheim teacher admits sexual connection charges involving teenage boys

The woman appeared in court today on seven charges of having sexual connections with underage boys.

A Blenheim teacher has admitted to a raft of sex charges against two under-age boys.

The woman appeared in the Blenheim District Court this morning on seven charges of having a sexual connection with two minors, as well exposing one of them to indecent material.

After an amendment was made to the exact dates of the offending, guilty pleas were entered on all charges.

The police summary of facts revealed how the woman first began texting one of the boys in 2017. She invited him to join her in the park, where she performed a sex act on him in the backseat of a car.

She told him not to worry about his classes, as she would get this changed in the school system and told him not to tell anyone.

The contact escalated to sexual intercourse on a number of occasions. She told the boy she loved him and also shared her mental health struggles.

The Court also heard how the teacher had sex with the victim and another boy in a parked car.

On one occasion, the teacher kissed one of the boys on school grounds.

When one of the boys tried to put an end to the contact, she continued to message him and sent him explicit videos of herself.

The woman has been allowed to keep her name suppressed for the time-being, with her sentencing in December.

She was convicted and remanded on bail.
