A Kiwi labour hire company is set to sign a work placement strategy.

In a bid to stop migrant exploitation, a Kiwi Labourer hire company is set to sign on to a work placement strategy.

It follows a 1 News investigation that revealed four construction companies had been suspended from hiring overseas workers for mass breaches of employment law.

The fair labour agreement will be signed today between Extrastaff management and First Union.

It includes protections for overseas workers and binds businesses to "ethical commitments" to their staff.
