Eleven people injured in three-car crash near Kaikoura

Eleven people have been injured in a crash involving three cars on State Highway 1, South of Kaikoura.

Police were notified of the crash at Oaro at 4.45pm today.

Four of people injured needed to be flown out and the rest were taken by ambulance to Kaikoura Hospital.
