Electrocution blamed after person dies in Napier workplace incident

WorkSafe is investigating after a person died after they were reportedly electrocuted in a workplace incident in Napier yesterday.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Meeanee at 4.15pm, police said. 

A person was believed to have been electrocuted in the incident, WorkSafe understands.

The coroner has been advised.
