Elderly woman dies after falling off bicycle in Rangiora

An 81-year-old woman has died overnight in Christchurch Hospital after falling off her bicycle in the town of Rangiora yesterday morning.

The woman came off her bicycle on Cones Rd at 9.40am.

"Police's thoughts are with her family and loved ones at this time," a spokesperson said.
