Eight-year-old Aussie may have broken world record with 314kg shark catch

October 14, 2019

The world record for catching the biggest shark may have been broken by an eight-year-old Australian boy.

Jayden Millauro caught a 314-kilogramme tiger shark at a secret fishing spot off the New South Wales coast over the weekend.

It's still unconfirmed as to whether or not the boy has nailed the record, but he's already celebrating his big catch.

The men who accompanied Jayden Millauro says the current world record sits at 312-kilogrammes.
