Driver dies in two car crash on West Coast

A driver had died and two other people have been injured in a two car crash on the West Coast.

The crash happened on State Highway 6, Ruatapu Road, south of Hokitika, shortly after 12pm today. 

Police say the driver of one of the vehicles has died and two other people have moderate injuries.

Diversions are in place while the Serious Crash Unit investigates at the scene.
