Staff at a Tauranga store were left traumatised after an alleged aggravated robbery yesterday.
Police say two men, believed to have been in possession of a firearm, entered a TAB at the Bethlehem Shops at 1.20pm.
The offenders took off with a small amount of cash, and then fled in a stolen white 1993 Nissan Sentra.
No one was injured.
The men were in their late 20s to early 30s, one was wearing shorts, sports shoes and a black and grey hoodie, and the other in dark trousers, gumboots and a grey hoodie with a dark jersey over his shoulders and head.
