Do you know these men? Images of pair who allegedly robbed Hamilton liquor store released by police

Police have released CCTV images of two men wanted for questioning over a liquor store robbery in Hamilton on Sunday night.

Police say two men entered the Thirsty Liquor store on Bader Street and attempted to steal several bottles of alcohol around 7:30pm on Sunday December 16.

When the shop attendant tried to prevent them from taking the bottles, the men allegedly assaulted him.

The pair were last seen running along Bader Street towards Normandy Avenue according to police.

Anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information about those involved, is urged to get in touch with Constable Sam Pritchard at Hamilton Police on (07) 858 6200.

Information can also be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
