Ugly video has emerged of an impatient Kiwi driver's expletive-laden rant after her journey near Taupo was held up by cyclists near Taupo.
The footage was uploaded to YouTube yesterday by the driver, 19-year-old Samantha Brown. The incident happened on Saturday.
It shows Ms Brown following a white car, which in turn is stuck behind the bunch of four cyclists.
Ms Brown can be heard swearing at and cursing the cyclists in front of her throughout the journey.
"Oh my God, what the f***? Are they really doing that?" she says.
"Do you even know how to ride a f***ing bike? Move it or I'll open my f***ing car door. Move it or f***ing lose it. Do you even have a brain? What the f***, I can't even process this s*** right now," she continues.
Eventually the white car in front manages to pass the cyclists, before she passes them herself.
Ms Brown told News.com.au she uploaded the video herself after a friend prompted her to.
"I am one of those people who gets in the car and gets road rage but in real life I am softly spoken," she told the website.
"I do generally like cyclists but I think they should be aware of other traffic and share the road, stay in single file."
Some video viewers condemned Ms Brown's actions.
"You shouldn't be allowed to drive. You're nuts," one person wrote.
"(You need) a padded cell, not a driver's seat," another said.
