Crashes have forced closures on motorways north and south of Auckland this afternoon.
In the latest incident, the northbound off-ramp of the Northern Motorway at Silverdale is closed due to a crash that was reported to emergency services just before 5.30pm.
Police say a motorcycle involved was reportedly on fire, however, there appear no injuries at this stage.
Motorists are being advised that the off-ramp is closed while emergency services attend.
Earlier, a crash involving multiple cars temporarily closed a section of Auckland's Southern motorway, southbound.
The crash happened after the Ellerslie Panmure off-ramp shortly after 3.30pm, and there were no reports of injuries.
NTZA tweeted at 4pm that the road was re-opened to one lane.
A 5pm update said the vehicles had been cleared and the motorway fully reopened.
