Police are warning motorists that a crash this morning on State Highway 1 near Huntly could impede traffic flow, including people travelling to Hamilton for the Tonga vs. New Zealand league match.
The crash happened about 8am at Ohinewai, with a truck hitting a barrier. No one was injured.
The southbound lane is currently blocked and traffic management is in place, as well as detours.
Police advise anyone using that part of SH1 today to allow extra time to reach their destination.
