Crash on major motorway causes delays for Auckland commuters

A crash on the Northwestern Motorway is causing delays for motorists in both directions in Auckland this morning. 

NZTA Auckland and Northland tweeted this morning the State Highway 16  crash was blocking the right northbound lane between Te Atatu Rd and Patiki Rd. 

The scene was now clear, but drivers were warned their journeys may take longer than usual.

NZTA urged drivers to maintain speed care in the area.
