The Independent Police Conduct Authority (IPCA) will not be pursuing a complaint laid over the 2016 investigation into MP Todd Barclay.

Accusations surfaced last month that Mr Barclay allegedly made secret recordings of one of his electoral staff, and the incident was investigated by police last year.
RNZ reports the IPCA received a complaint last month over last year's police investigation, but found no misconduct or neglect by the police investigators.
The IPCA is an independent body created by Parliament to oversee the police.
