A train collided with a ute in Takanini, Auckland this morning, leaving one person with moderate injuries, says St John. 


Auckland Transport has tweeted that people should expect disruptions and cancellations "to Southern Line services due to an emergency services incident".

Roads have reopened around the area. 

Fire services are at the scene and say no people are trapped.
