The pair from Avonside Girls’ High School want to focus on the “positives” after the tragedy.

Two students from Avonside Girls’ High School have united to produce a documentary following the Christchurch terrorist attack on March 15.

Megan and Lucy attended today’s National Remembrance Service at North Hagley Park in Christchurch along with thousands of others.

With their camera in tow, the pair spoke to TVNZ's John Campbell about why it’s important for them to remember the "positives" that have been created to support the Muslim community following the attack.

"We are currently making a documentary on how Christchurch is bouncing back after the shootings," Megan says.

"We came here because we are focusing on all the positives .. this is our way of giving back."
