Some people seem to have all the luck, and one Christchurch man has it in spades.
Dean Harrison has found more than 58 wallets and returned every single one of them.
"I don't own a taxi cab and I don’t own a bar and they’ve all been given back," he says.
Mr Harrison's luck has helped him find more than just wallets over the years, however.
He says he’s found "one set of golf clubs, one mountain bike, 17 smartphones, 14 pairs of sunglasses, numerous $20 notes, $50 notes…"
His luck also extends to winning Lotto tickets.
In December 2003, Mr Harrison won first division after jokingly asking for the winning ticket.
The man says he owes his extreme levels of luck to doing his best to keep his glass half-full.
"So why am I lucky? I choose to be," he says.
