A Christchurch man has been charged with the murder of Rakaia dairy farm worker Tony Waldron.
Mr Waldron was found dead in his Rakaia home on September 18.
A 26-year-old appeared in the Christchurch District Court this afternoon charged with Mr Waldron's murder.
Judge Tom Gilbert remanded the man, who has interim name suppression, in custody to reappear in the Christchurch High Court on October 21.
