Christchurch Adventure Park to reopen today, 10 months after devastating Port Hills fire

The complex was destroyed by the fire, shortly after it was completed.

The Christchurch Adventure Park will re-open for the first time today after the Port Hills fire ripped through the complex 10 months ago.

The fires caused millions of dollars in damage, destroyed houses and also claimed the life of a pilot.

The Adventure Park includes bike trails, ziplines, a cafe and hirage system.

An official weekend opening will take place this coming weekend with hundreds of adventure and thrill seekers expected to turn out.
