Firefighters have left Auckland's Starship Hospital after a child earlier was reported stuck in the ceiling.
Fire staff earlier confirmed to 1 NEWS that the child had been in the ceiling for much of the morning.
It's not understood how the child came to be in the ceiling.
However, a Fire Service spokesperson said crews had left the scene by 9.45am.
An Auckland DHB spokesperson said "the situation has now been resolved and the young person is safe".
