Chief Ombudsman investigates Auckland Council's handling of reports into potential central city stadium

The Chief Ombudsman is investigating Auckland Council's handling of two reports into a potential central city stadium.

The formal investigation comes after complaints were made by several councillors who say Auckland Mayor Phil Goff refused to give them full and open access to the reports.

The reports cost ratepayers around $1 million to produce.
