More funerals are being held today for victims of the Christchurch mosque terrorist attack.
Cashmere High School student Sayyad Ahmed Milne, 14, and former Cashmere student Tariq Rashid Omar, 24, were farewelled at Memorial Park Cemetery this morning.
Hundreds of mourners gathered, while armed police were stationed outside a white barrier that has been erected.
Sayyad was a year 10 student, who attended the Al Noor Mosque with family every Friday.
His sister, Tauranga woman Brydie Henry, said Sayyad was at the mosque with his mother, who survived the tragedy.
"Sayyad was just this cool kid. Just a typical Kiwi boy.
"He was a real football boy, we all signed a football today, knowing that's him," she said.
Also being laid to rest today are Linda Susan Armstrong, aged 64, Hussein Mohamed Khalil Moustafa, 70, and Haji-Daoud Nabi.
Buried yesterday were Khalid Mustafa and his son Hamzah Mustafa, and also Junaid Ismail.
Another person whose name is suppressed was also buried yesterday, as were two other people.
