Cafe evacuated after 500 litres of fuel spills on boat along Auckland waterfront

Five-hundred litres of fuel has spilled from inside a boat, prompting the evacuation of a cafe on the Auckland waterfront.

Three fire trucks were called to the Westhaven Marina at around 3.13pm, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson told 1 NEWS.

The cafe was evacuated as a precautionary measure, the spokesperson said.

The petrol has not leaked into the water.
