One person has suffered smoke inhalation at the scene of a building fire in Palmerston North.
Five appliances are at the scene on Ferguson Street and are working to extinguishing the blaze.
Fire and Emergency has told 1 NEWS a dairy was exposed to the blaze and was at risk of the fire.
There are no reports yet of any serious injuries however ambulance is at the scene for one patient suffering from smoke inhalation.
