Brave Gore dairy owner chases machete-wielding thugs, suffers hand injury

The shopkeeper sustained a minor injury to the hand, and chased the trio down the road.

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a dairy in Gore last night where three masked males used a machete to menace the shopkeeper.

The males, all wearing balaclavas and dark hoodies, entered the Coutts Road Dairy about 7.30pm.

The shopkeeper suffered a minor injury to his hand, and chased the offenders down the road before losing sight of them.

Police are asking anyone with information to get in touch with them.
