Body of missing swimmer found in Kaikōura

Police have found the body of a woman who reported missing while swimming in Kaikōura yesterday.

The woman was reported missing from South Bay around 7.45pm, police said

A search involving Coastguard was underway but her body was found about 11am today.

The death will be referred to the coroner.
