Beloved rural tradition of Calf Club goes digital in era of cow disease

The risk of cross-contamination from Mycoplasma bovis has meant the long-standing and much-loved kids calf club tradition has had to be cancelled in many parts of the country.

However, in a brilliant move, two Waikato heroes have come up with a way to save it by using social media.

TVNZ1's Seven Sharp reporter Carolyn Robinson checked out how the 21st century Calf Club works in the video above.
